Imagine touring real world places like the Louvre or the Grand Canyon with a friend or watching sporting events together even if you are not in the same location or slaying dragons in a fantasy land or just hanging out with distant relatives. We are working on virtual reality experiences that knit themselves into the social fabric of life with onscreen settings that can range from underwater worlds to prehistoric times. Players can walk, run, see, feel, hear, and interact with each other in the virtualized real world. Physical world barriers (walls, furniture, doors) appear onscreen visually different from reality and users can interact with them or avoid them as they would in real life.
